I swim all day, fish in my way by DogmanSP I swim all day, fish in my way by DogmanSP
Listen to this [The 2-2 Blues]

Not only does he swim across oceans (impressive in itself), but rarely on the surface and on a single breath!

Mario, property of Nintendo

The only time he ever does is when you press the jump button a little too often, and when you're trying to avoid that Cheep-Cheep. But other than that, nice job!

I never imagined it to be so empty in a 3D perspective!

The water details caught my eyes, and I love it, The refraction of light on Mario was Amazing! Even the fish in the back ground were drawn awesomely, but it makes you wonder how he knows which way to go, you understand when he's flat, but like this... I wonder...

Thank you! I'm pretty sure he just zig-zags across the world until he gets to the next castle. You'd have thought he might use the odd boat or plane though, or does he only use them on holiday?

Hmm... What do you think they use for fuel? You don't see toads digging for fossil fuels, and items... mabey there is a fuel power up. But where do you see it? It get's me thinking...

In an interview about the Propeller Suit in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Shigeru Miyamoto said there probably isn't petrol. Yeah, I reckon it's P-wings, with higher grade fuel mixed in with either Super or Golden Mushrooms.

Ah, thanks for telling, we learn something new every day, weather we try to hide it or not, but I can now go and tell my friends something they don't know and make them learn something new, YAY torturing/learning time!

This is amazing. I love how empty it is and how you've thrown in just a few things to look at. I never knew such an empty space full of detail could come out so nice. Awesome.

I have to agree with ~PheonixSage, it really felt that way to me. Though this picture really puts into perspective exactly how vast the waters are that Mario travels, it's a lot more amazing than I first thought. Almost scary, too.

That's what I've always like about the Mario series, it's hidden depth.

I'll probably do an 'Air Platform' piece at some point.

Yeah, it really is cool to see stuff like that.

And honestly, I look forward to that, it'd great to see how vast the skies are too.

Whoah, this has a really nice atmosphere. The subtle background elements are a great touch, too. It's a really nice moment, totally evokes fond memories of Mario 64, and a lot of subsequent Mario games. Excellent job, mate.

Thanks, I always worry about atmosphere, as I tend to focus solely on lineart. Glad you like it!
